What to Bring and not to Bring.....that is the question?

Picture
We welcome you to Mountain Life....at least for a few days!   In the mountains, it is a fact that if you are prepared for all weather, the weather you are preparing for won't occur!  We ask that you be prepared for all weather regardless of what month it is.  We have frost, and can have snow in July!  The sun is always shining at 1362 meters.

Here's a mandatory list of what to bring with you in it's entirety:
  • Your spirit!
  • Your willingness!
  • Your sense of self, others and the environment!
  • Your adventurous nature!

Here's a suggested list of your personal gear that all guests should bring to the lodge regardless of the nature of their visit or the season:
  • Indoor shoes or slippers (good for inside the lodge or on the deck)
  • Outdoor shoes or boots  (hiking boots or shoes with good treads are necessary if you are going for walks or hikes in the forest)
  • Enough comfortable clothing for your stay.  Dress accordingly, depending on the activities/workshops you will be participating in
  • Jacket (fleece layer works well)
  • Hat, touque, mitts, gloves
  • Personal toiletries including towel/facecloth etc...
  • Your favorite pillow
  • Sleeping bag or blanket  (the lodge does have duvets and pillows available at a small fee $10.00 for the duration of your stay, just let us know if that's what you prefer)
  • Camera
  • Your Journal for reflections & turning inward
  • Anything else you think might need for your stay ex yoga mat, clothes that can get grubby

Our suggestions of what not to bring (and these are only suggestions)
Cell phones, computers, iPods's, etc....

We want you to be as comfortable as possible during your stay, if we can be of any help please let us know.
