That's right, we'll be rocking it and stretching it out!!
This fun weekend will focus on time outside in the beautiful David Thompson Corridor as we are very excited to share with you some of our personal favorite local climbing sites and our love of rock climbing!!
During the weekend we will cover some key rock climbing movement tips to assist you to climb more efficiently. In addition we will also cover basic safety, rope management, & top roping techniques. The rope management techniques we will share will provide you with the take home skills to continue to explore your love of climbing!
What we have also learned over our combined 20 years of rock climbing is that our bodies perform best when we take good care of them! We will incorporate more exploration of this beautiful Rocky Mountain Corridor while also stretching, resting, and sharing highlights of our rock climbing adventure.
This weekend will be great for total beginners looking for a great first time experience and also for those of you who have climbed in the gym a few times and are ready to take the fun outside to the sunshine and fresh air!!!
Ideally you will also come away from the weekend with a crew of keen, safe, and knowledgeable partners to continue climbing with! Who knows, maybe you'll even come back for Level 2 where you learn about lead climbing, lead belaying, anchors, & top rope set up.
