Maren Hasse is dedicated to living her truth in thought, word and deed - what she calls FIERCE Integrity. In addition to her role as a yoga teacher, she serves as a life coach, author and retreat facilitator. In her work, Maren guides her clients towards stunning personal transformation, as she assists them in taking down any barriers that stand in the way of reaching their full potential.
Maren sees yoga as a powerful tool in which to reach one’s truth. The word “yoga” comes from the Sanskrit word “yuj” meaning “yoke” or “union” of body, mind and spirit. Through a combination of yoga and coaching (aka FIERCE Fusion), Maren guides her clients into finding their own Union. Their own Yoga. Their own Truth. Their own Path.
“Wow! This was a fabulous getaway! Perfect in fact. Thank you so much for all your love and energy. I have taken my practice to a new level and would highly recommend this retreat to anyone who wants to recharge their batteries.”
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am filled with such gratitude for every aspect of the weekend. An amazing experience! I laughed, I cried and experienced life to its fullest. So grateful for the most spectacular weekend EVER!"
Maren has been teaching yoga since she received her Hatha Yoga 200-hr. Certification in 2005. Since then, she has taken additional workshops and trainings in Vinyasa Flow, Yin, Acro Yoga, and Rocket Ashtanga Yoga.
Maren answered “the call” to coaching in 2012, although she has several years of experience working with people and groups in varying capacities. She is currently enrolled as a student in the Martha Beck Life Coaching Institute and has been working with the amazing Jo Anna Rothman (founder of the Receiving Project) since April of 2012.
In addition to her role as the creator and facilitator of the free e-course FIERCE Integrity, she is eagerly awaiting the release of her first book FIERCE Integrity: A Course in Living Your Truth due out in the summer of 2013!
Curious by nature, Maren loves to experience new things, including traveling, outdoor pursuits, and meeting different people. She feels extremely connected to the Essential Life concept and crew as she hails from Spruce Grove, Alberta and worked, lived and volunteered at COE. Currently, she feels content and fortunate to live with her husband Trent and their young son Chephren in Stony Plain, Alberta, but is ever-open to the possibility of yet another adventure, especially if it involves time in the sun.
